The UP Simbanggabi

4:00 AM, 16 December 2006. The Parish of the Holy Sacrifice was filled with massgoers for the dawn masses. President Emerlinda Roman did the first reading, Dani Ochoa of ICTUS for the responsorial psalm and Cha of UPSCA for the Prayers of the Faithful. The choir was composed of different UP religious organizations, and the musicians from Musica Chiesa. Bro. Ernald Andal SJ, sang Paglamig ng Hangin. The highlight of the simbanggabi was the dances of the UP Filipiniana Dance Group, choreographed by Mr. Van Manalo. They provided the dances for the Entrance Procession, the Gloria, the Offertory Procession, and the jazz recessional of Ang Pasko ay Sumapit. Sr. Sonia Aldeguer RSCJ and the staff of the Campus Ministry organized our breakfast after the simbanggabi (Misa de Gallo).
